Cottage. C17. Timber framed, enclosed or replaced on ground floor
with cob to rear, and front wall of colourwashed random stone.
Thatched roof. Single storey and attic, 2 bays, extended to south
by narrow bay, and outbuilding at north end now incorporated.
Originally a 2-bay gable stack house, extended to incorporate
adjoining well house, now entrance hall and stair. Entrance
through half glazed door. Paned casement windows, raised dormers
to upper floor. Gable stack and outbuilding thatched as lean-to.
Internally, main north room has spine beam with bar run-out stops.
Originally stair at side of stack now removed, chamfered fire
lintel, and oven, rear of which also removed. Room to south has
rough spine beam.
