Probably a C16-C17 timber-framed and plastered house with a cross wing
at the north end. A further wing extends to the north making the cross
wing appear as a central gable. 2 storeys. The upper storey is jettied
on the whole front but at different levels. The cross wing and south
block are on curved brackets and the north wing is on heavy shaped brackets.
3 window range, double-hung sashes with glazing bars on the 1st storey
and 4 small oriel bays on the ground storey. No 2 has an original boarded
door with strap hinges and a 4-centred head. Roofs tiled (old tiles).
The interiors have exposed timber-framing.
