A timber-framed and plastered house probably of the C17 refaced in C19
gault brick (painted . There is a cross wing at the south end which was
raised and refaced in gault brick in the C19. The south end has some
exposed timber framing. 2 storeys. The main block has 2 window range
and the cross wing has 1, double-hung sashes with glazing bars, in plain
reveals. The 1st storey windows have stuccoed lintels. There is a small
C19 shop bay with a 6-panel door. At the north end there is a cart entrance.
Roof tiled (old tiles). The cross wing has ornamental C19 bargeboards.
