Barn, now farm store. C17, altered early C18. Timber-framed, in square framing;
weatherboarded except 3 east bays rebuilt in squared and coursed chalk, with
brick cross banding; corrugated iron roof. L shaped plan, of 4 and 5 bays, with
threshing floor at junction of two wings. Queen-strut trusses of heavy
scantling with jowled posts braced to tie and wall plates; windbraces, butt
tenoned purlins; at east end the timber framing beneath a C17 truss has been
replaced by chalk and brick walling and 3 trusses up to the east gable wall
were built in C18.
