Inn, late C17 origins, mostly C18, extended in early C19. Rubble
stone with ashlar dressings, stone slate roof and red brick end
stacks. Two storeys, originally double-fronted with near-matching
bay added to left. Flush quoins, paired 12-pane sashes, in beaded
architraves to left, in beaded flush surrounds elsewhere. Door,
central to two right bays, in raised moulded surround. Shorter C19
parallel rear range with coped north gable and rear wall stack.
Steep gabled 1½ storey south end section, possibly C17, linked by
single storey C20 range to stone-slated gabled outbuilding, with
north side door in flush moulded surround.
Interior: timber-lintel fireplace to right of door.
