Farmhouse, C18/early C19, rubble stone with imitation stone slate roof, ridge stack and west end stack. Two storeys, flush quoins, four-window range. To left, ground floor three-light cyma-moulded flush mullion window and two-light unmoulded mullion window above, straight joint, then large ashlar full-height canted bay with hipped roof and 12:16:12-pane windows each floor. To right, six-panel door in open timber porch and 16-pane sash above, and then pair of twelve-pane sashes each floor, windows in ashlar flush surrounds. East addition, with two-light mullion window each floor. Parallel rear range. In the later C19 belonged to Meredith-Brown family and features in the diary of Francis Kilvert.
