SU 07 NE CLYFFE PYPARD THE BARTONS

Farmhouse. C18 and 1804 by Richard Pace of Lechlade. Brick,
Flemish bond with stone dressing and slated mansard roof with gable
stacks and dormers. 2 storeys, 3 bays with central entrance to
garden. Entrance bay broken forward, with simple stone-faced
porch. Sash windows to first floor and lunette in swept up gable
terminating in 3 ball finials. Windows to side bays sash with
sashed side lights, centre light with blind rounded head to ground
floor and heavy timber lintels on upper floor.
C18 rear section entirely refaced and modernised. Reception rooms
in front block have simple wood fire surrounds and tiled cheeks.
Simple drawn cornice.
