Farmhouse. Early C18 with early C19 alterations. Coursed limestone rubble;
gabled stone slate roof; brick end and rear lateral stacks. Double-depth plan. 2
storeys and attic; 5-window range. Symmetrical 4-window range with cambered
stone arches over C19 six-pane sashes to left of long front elevation. To right
are similar arches over C20 door with overlight and similar sashes; 2 gabled
roof dormers. Rear: early C19 two-storey outshuts flank stair turret; early C19
gabled two-storey wing to rear right. Mid C19 one-storey service range to right.
Interior: C19 dog-leg stairs with stick balusters, renewed on lower flight, to
rear. Large early C19 fireplace with mantled wood surround to right. Cased
beams.
