One house, now 3 shops and flats. Late C18 with mid-late C19
alterations. Painted render with painted ashlar quoins and
dressings; hipped stone slate roof with stone and brick
chimneys.
2 storeys; 5-window range. Simple shop front to Nos 82 & 82A
at left with plain pilasters, windows with slender mullion and
transom, and central paired partly-glazed panelled doors with
high overlights; full-width sloping fascia and shallow
cornice; folding canopies on hinged iron stays. At right,
No.82B has high late C20 reeded fascia over boarded door and
plain overlight to house, and renewed door to shop. Shop
window has slender mullion and transom. First floor has 3
canted bay windows at centre and ends, with plain sashes and
prominent cornices. Similar sashes at irregular intervals
between these windows have painted stone wedge lintels and
projecting stone sills. Low-pitched hipped roof has left and
rear right brick chimneys rising from eaves, and transverse
ridge chimney between second and third houses. INTERIOR: not
inspected.
