Pair of houses. Mid-C18 with early C19 alterations. Coursed
squared stone with irregular quoins and ashlar dressings. Roof
stone slates with stone gable copings and brick and rendered
chimneys. 2 storeys; 2-window range. Paired central doors have
2 long panels and small overlights in doorcase of pilasters
with architrave heads and quasi-pediment lintels with
cornices. Centre blank above doors. Plain stone surrounds to
4-pane sashes, those on ground floor and at left on first
floor with deeper tooled lintels, those on second floor with
sills lowered and small jamb blocks inserted to accommodate
larger windows. Roof has stone ridge and gable copings;
kneelers lost. Rendered left and yellow brick right end
chimneys. INTERIOR: not inspected.
