Former farmhouse. Mid-late C17 with older origins, extended C18 and altered C19 and C20. Rendered over limestone rubble, slate roof, brick ridge end stack, ridge and left end stack pebbledashed. 2 storeys, 3-window range.
Central C20 door, 3-light casement window to ground floor right, late C19 canted bay window to left. 3-light casements to 1st floor and 2-light casements to 1st floor left of centre. 2-storey wing to rear just right of centre, probably C18 and former outbuilding to left side of wing of 2 storeys, now part of general accommodation.
INTERIOR: stop-chamfered spine beams. Room to ground floor left has late C19 painted slate chimneypiece and fitted cupboard opposite with glazed double-leaf doors to upper part which has semi-domed head and shaped shelves. Room to ground floor right has open fireplace with stop-chamfered bressumer. To right side of fireplace exposed lower portion of former full cruck truss; probably'the only surviving timber. Stone-flagged floor to ground floor room in wing. 3-light leaded casement window, now internal, to 1st floor rear left. Tie beam truss to former outbuilding.
