Town house, now with shop. Early C19. Incised stucco, on
masonry to ground floor, and studwork above; asbestos slate
roof with 2 hipped dormers behind parapet. Double-depth plan.
2 storeys plus attic; overall 4-window range. Plinth, giant
fluted pilasters, string, and moulded cornice to parapet.
Right-hand part is symmetrical 3-window front: round-arched
doorway with pilasters, open pediment, panelled reveals and
plain fanlight over 6-panel door, flanked by shallow segmental
arches with keyblocks over original 16-pane hornless sashes;
similar sashes to 1st floor but in square-headed openings with
wooden architraves and keyblocks. On left is larger 20-pane
sash over C20 shop front with glazing bars to its window.
INTERIOR: some partitions removed but retains many panelled
doors and plaster ceiling cornices and bands.
