Farm buildings formerly part of Bidston Hall estate. Late C18.
Coursed and squared rubble with Welsh slate roofs. L-plan, the
main range built in two phases, the eastern bay a slightly
later addition. It comprises a series of 9 stables, each with
doorway and window in plain stone architraves, some of the
doors now blocked. Small square loft openings above. Linked at
the west to a further stable or byre range by lower block with
cart entrance through to rear. Stable or byre block has
outshut against east wall with 2 doors and windows. Gable wall
has moulded arched doors in lean-to, and 4-centred arched
doorway with flanking window in main building.
