Mansion now in use as care centre. 1835, enlarged 1844.
Ashlar-faced with Welsh slate roof. Neo-Tudor. 2-storeyed,
complex plan with 5-bay entrance front. This front loosely
symmetrical, with outer and central gabled bays advanced.
Moulded arched door with drop-ended hood-mould and oriel bay
window with embattled parapet over in central gable. Flanking
bays each have 2-light casement window on each floor and link
to gabled outer bays. Left-hand bay has 3-light casement
window on each floor, with canted bay to ground floor of
gabled return. 4-light mullioned and transomed windows in
full-height bay in right-hand gable. South elevation has
stepped gable to right with large 4-light mullioned and
transomed windows, stepped to first floor and divided by
frieze with coats of arms. Large canted bay window to left and
3-light casements linking to single storey block to west with
large canted bay and 3-light mullioned and transomed window
with gable with octagonal pinnacles over. In the inner angle
of these 2 main wings, a tower with gabled roof behind
embattled parapet. Stepped 3-light mullioned and transomed
window in east elevation. 3-storeyed service wing to north
linking to embattled courtyard wall terminating in small tower
with embattled parapet corbelled out.
