Rectory. 1861-2, replacing an earlier C19 or late C18
building. Brick with stone dressings, Welsh slate roof. Gothic
style. 2 storeys, 2-room plan with wide central entrance hall,
but the house formerly extended to north. Gable to left, with
paired mullioned windows to ground floor, and oriel bay
corbelled out above, with pointed lights and trefoil to gable
wall. Stone coping to gable carried on moulded kneelers.
Central doorway in gabled timber porch, the gable apex
advanced on curved struts. Doorway flanked by paired trefoiled
lights to hall. Canted bay to right with stone roof, and 3
trefoiled lights. Upper window beneath steep gabled dormer.
Axial and end wall stacks. Of an original painted interior,
only some stencilled joists and ceiling beams remain.
