Public house. Reported to be 1730, altered C18, C20
fenestration. Render with painted limestone dressings, brick
lateral and gable stacks, pantile roof, hipped to the
left-hand end. 3-room parallel plan. 2 storeys; 4-window
range. A deeply-set doorway to the left of the right-hand
window, C19 half-glazed doorway to the right of the corner;
C20 ground-floor windows have stained glass above the transom,
a 2-light window to the right and centre, with wide public
house windows to the left and left-hand return, which has 2
Tuscan columns on the corner and centre. 6/6-pane first-floor
sashes, in flush frames to the right and left. Rear elevation
has a small right-hand gable with a right-hand catslide roof.
INTERIOR largely remodelled C20.
