There are only two survivng windmills in Dorset and this is one of them.
Located about 140 metres south-east of Angel Mill on the edge of the village of Easton.
Both mills are 17th century or earlier and illustarted on the 1626 map of William Simplon.
The were operated by the Pearce family until their abandonment in the 1890's.
They have been subject to some restroration and the large stone blocks prevent access into the tower.
