GV II

Barn, originally belonging to Hall o' th' Hill, probably early C18. Coursed
sandstone rubble with quoins, concrete tile roof. Rectangular plan of 6 bays
(later single storey addition on south side). Breathers on 2 levels
(4 levels in gables). Former opposed wagon doors in centre, now altered,
part of one cheek remaining on north side. Left (east) end wall has 2 wide
segmental-headed doorways (both blocked) and a square opening at flat floor
level; right (west) end has 3 ground floor doorways with jamb stones and
rectangular lintels (all blocked), a matching square opening at 1st floor
level, a moulded gable coping with kneelers, and a small finial at the
apex.
