House. Late C16 with similar C20 ancillary unit added on W
side to make a dwelling. Timber-framed and rendered, peg-tiled
roof. Rectangular plan. One and a half storeys. N front
elevation: twin gabled, of old and new units, E block has old
wall plate horns and collars with side purlins visible. All
other features C20. Door with upper glazing 2x3 panes and 3
sunk panels. 2 ground floor and 2 upper floor 3-light casement
windows with rectangular leaded panes. W side elevation: one
ground floor 2-light window in similar style, one upper single
casement window towards rear. E side elevation: blank,
rendered timber framing to lane from churchyard. Rear S
elevation: twin gables back onto N churchyard wall (qv). W,
C20 unit integrated with wall.
INTERIOR: original E unit has upper framing exposed, 2 bays.
Tie-beam now removed, middle section of side walls have
relatively close studding, ends have straight primary braces.
Roof of clasped side purlin form.
