Row of 5 almshouses. Mid C18 with C19 and C20 alterations.
Colourwashed red brick, pantile roof with brick coped tumbled
gables, 3 red brick ridge stacks. 2 storey, 10 bay front having
brick dentillated eaves course. 5 planked doors with C20 gabled
porches and 4 plain casements and a 2 light casement, 3 with
segmental brick heads. To first floor are 3 two light sliding
sashes to eaves. Described in Whites Directory of 1856 as 2
houses divided into 8 tenements occupied by paupers.
