Town house. Late C18. Granite rubble with granite dressings;
steep asbestos slate roof except for scantle slate to part of
rear wing; brick end stacks and central stack just behind
ridge; cast-iron ogee gutters. Shallow-depth plan plus short
wing at rear left. 2 storeys; symmetrical 3-window front. Late
C19 horned sashes with glazing bars except 4-pane sash to
1st-floor right and central doorway with original 6-panel
door. One of a good row of C18 houses stepped down the hill in
New Street. INTERIOR not inspected.
