Drinking fountain. 1911. Cast-iron open-work on stone base.
Gothic style. Four fluted columns, 4 moulded cusped arches
with ornamented spandrels and scrolled corners; domed roof
with griffons, ribs and coronet; roundels in the centre of
each side with pelican emblem in shields and inscriptions:
"Presented by Councillor W.G. Makinson
January 1911" and "Keep the pavement dry". Basin on composite
pedestal with fountain above.
