House. C17. Rough-faced ashlar; clay tile roof with fish-scale
tile bands and coped verges on kneelers; ashlar integral end stack
to SE, brick ridge stack to NW of centre. 3-room lobby entry plan;
kitchen to NW, Hall to centre, stairs and former pantry occupy part
of SE bay. 2 storeys with first floor band; 3 windows, 3 lights
with chamfered mullions and surrounds containing casements; 2-light
casement to ground floor left; C20 gabled porch to left of centre.
Interior: Large inglenook fireplace to hall with a firewindow in NE
wall; exposed chamfered ceiling beams; roof truss consists of king
post, interrupted collar, queen struts, and diagonal struts extending
from the foot of each queen strut to the principal rafters. A good
example of a C17 farmhouse.
