Mid C19. Red brick retaining wall. Iron railings with 41 hexagonal posts with
shallow pointed caps, dated 1849, with a Norfolk lion in relief. Pulborough stone
piers at east and west end of railings: circular, that at west end with ogival
cap.
The raised pavements form a group with Nos 2 to 10 (even) Maltravers Street and
Nos 69 and 71 High Street.
