C17. Terraced cottages. Red brick, grey headers. (Flemish bond). Pitched tile
roof. Red brick chimneys.
2 storeys. Brick stringcourse over the 4 most westerly ground floor windows.
6 casement windows with glazing bars on ground floor; east one segment-headed,
3rd from west 2-light, others 3-light. 7 casements with glazing bars on 1st floor,
all 3-light except for 3rd and 4th from west, which are 2-light. 4 doors; east
one (No 25) mid C19, with 6 Panels, moulded surround, flat hood taken on consoles
and elaborate knocker. Next one mid C19, 6-panelled, with flat hood taken on
slender iron brackets. Next one (No 27) mid C19, 1-panelled, scallope-and-laurel
knocker. West one (No 29) mid C19, 6 fielded panels, flat hood on consoles, very
elaborate knocker in form of Perpendicular Gothic aedicule.
Nos 3 to 31 (odd) and the Little House form a group with Nos 1, 2 & 6
Baker's Arms Hill.
