GV II
Inn. Probably late C18, with alterations. Thin courses of sandstone rubble
with quoins and ashlar dressings; Welsh slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 and one bays.
Main house has central 4-panel door in plain stone surround, flanked by
projecting square bay windows, under full-width hipped pent roof; 3 late C19
sashes above have flat stone lintels and stone sills, and external louvred
shutters. 5 short stone piers on eaves, holding full-width name board. Tall
end chimneys. Right bay, now with sliding boarded vehicle doors, has late C19
sash under wide stone lintel on first floor, and small square sash set
immediately above. Included for group value.
