C16 or early C17, complex plan, with alterations, 2 storey and attics. Entrance set back with small forecourt. Interior: early C17 moulded panelling, massive stop chamfered beams and crossbeams, wide fireplaces, circa 1700 arched cupboard with shaped shelves and shallow half dome.

The Normans, Well House and Nos 1 to 5 (consec) & Standard House form a group.
