Late C18. Three-storeys and dormers; ground floor modern shops; 2.3.1 windows, with
pediment over 'centre'. Red brickwork in Flemish bond, with blue headers. Stone cop-
ing to pediment over brick 'dentils', the ends resting on projecting brackets. Some
original sashes. No 125, slate; No 126, tile hipped roof. Built in 1776 as Theatre
Manager's house, Coffee Shop and tavern for Henry Thornton and housed the booking
office to the theatre and became a chapel in 1827.
