Appears to be dated 1543. Stone, with flag roof, centre tall chimney and a projecting
end chimney. Front centre portion is single storeyed, with a 7-light stone-mullioned
window with label, and dormer on roof. Gabled wing to left 2-storeyed, with
a 4-light window up and a 5-light window down, both with labels. Larger gabled
wing to right has a 4-centred arched doorway and a 6-light stone- mullioned window
all under one label; above are 2 old windows of 2 and 5-lights with stone mullions
and labels, and there is a circular eye in gable top. There is another doorway
on left hand gable end. The rear elevation is similar, with a low centre portion
with an 8-light window, and flanking gabled wings of 2 storeys. Said to have
Cromwellian associations.
