Midknowle Farmhouse, with

Detached farmhouse. Dated 1853. Brickwork, rendered with Doulting stone dressings; double Roman clay tiled roof between
stepped coped gables with ball finials; central brick chimney stack. Two storeys with attic, 2 bays. West elevation has
plain end pilasters; 16-pane sash windows in keystoned segmental-arched openings; between bays a projecting flat roofed
stone porch with plinth, cornice moulds and shallow parapet, double part-glazed doors with small wood lattice porch
appended; above, a rectangular plaque with raised lettering "BW/1853". Matching windows in north gable end. Interior
not seen. Extending from north-west corner a brick wall in Flemish bond with stone copings, brick piers with pyramidal
caps, and arrow-pointed railed gate with urn finials to supports; running from one gatepier and back 1 metre north of
house gable a low railing with arrowheads to match, returning to north-east corner; and contributing to setting of
farmhouse.
