Detached cottage. Probably early C18. Local stone cut and squared; thatched roof with coped gable, plain to north;
brick end and intermediate chimney stacks. Two storeys, 4 bays. Horizontal bar casement windows, mostly 3-light, with
no window to lower bay 4, all under exposed timber lintols: between bays 2 and 3 a boarded door with glazed panel hung
on heavy frame, with rustic timber and thatched open porch. Interior not seen.
