C16 building with C18 additions. Garden front of 2 storeys, 4 windows. High
pitched roof, half-hipped at ends, renewed in machine tile. Off-centre ridge
stack partly rebuilt. 1st floor tile hung. Ground floor galleted random rubble
with brick dressings and brick-coped plinth. Door of 5 panels under gabled,
bracketed hood. Various casement windows. Some visible timber framing below
right hip. Entrance front, formerly the back, has part of original low-sweeping
roof to left of C18 extension, of similar materials but for end piece of red
brick with blue headers. 1st floor windows sashes with glazing bars in flush,
moulded frames.
