Railings and gateways to churchyard
of Church of All Saints

Churchyard railings and gateway. Probably 1815. Cast-iron
railings on sandstone ashlar plinth, wrought-iron gates.
Enclosing west, north and east sides of churchyard. Gothick
style. Simple bar railings in continuous arcade of trefoiled
2-centred arches; gateway in north side, with slender
standards and ogee overthrow with quatrefoil open-work, large
curved "buttresses" in similar style on inner side, gate with
dog-bars, 2 trefoil panels containing fleurs-de-lys, and
scrolled cresting. Similar gateways in west and east sides,
that in west side damaged and one gate loose at time of
survey.
