GV II

Terrace of 10 small houses. Late C19. Stucco on brick; scantle
slate roof to part of No.1, left, otherwise asbestos slate
roofs with pair of small central gables to each pair and large
gable to front of each end house; brick stacks over party
walls forward of ridge. Double-depth plan, each with one room
to front.
2 storeys; paired pointed-arched lights to 1st floor over
tripartite sashes or pairs of pointed-arched doorways, each
pair with 3-bay front. Original 2-pane horned sashes. Original
V-jointed doors, most with overlights; C20 door to No.4. No.10
has 2-window-range right-hand return with moulded single
lights over 2-light moulded mullioned windows. INTERIORS not
inspected.
An unusual and complete example of late C19 artisan cottages,
unusual for its Gothic treatment.
