Town house with later shops. Early C19. Stucco on rubble with
mid-floor string; asbestos slate roof; brick end stack on
right; cast-iron gutter to No.23 (left). Double-depth plan.
3 storeys; 3-window range. Original 1st-floor sashes with
glazing to top halves to No.23, otherwise C20 windows in
original openings. Ground floor has full-width moulded
entablature over 2 c1900 double shop fronts with splayed
central doorways with quadrant return lights and leaded
glazing above transoms; overlight with margin panes to No.22.
