Farmhouse. C17, with additions. Timber-frame and brick;
stucco; roughcast; plain tile roof; massive rubble external
stack with roughcast brick chimney to south-east corner;
rendered brick stack to north cross-wing. L-shaped on plan.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys, attic and cellar; scattered fenestration
of C18, C19 and C20 casements. Main range of diagonally braced
panels, jettied over brick and roughcast ground floor, with
brick supporting piers to chamfered bressumer. West front has
overlight with old glass, over blocked opening with light.
North cross-wing has C19 brick gable; plank door under simple
porch, and battened plank door; C19 and C20 casements. C17
outshut, altered C19, to east.
INTERIOR: exposed deep-chamfered spine beams and dragon beam;
plank doors. Cellar: stone winder stair.
