SO48NW Lych gate at Church of The Holy
1943-1/6/166 Trinity

GV II

Lych gate. c1885. Coursed rubble plinth with ashlar detailing;
timber-frame with pierced plank infill; hipped plain tile roof
with cross-finial.
EXTERIOR: chamfered framing and arch-braces; moulded eaves;
moulded band to plinth; wrought-iron screens to returned
sides. Pair of gates with strap hinges and wrought-iron
spikes.
INTERIOR: stone seats; flagstone floor; moulded and
modillioned wood band with inscription to John and Mary Ann
Jones, d.1885.
