House. Late C17-early C18 with mid C18 rear extension.
Rendered limestone rubble with left-hand brick stack and stone
slate roof. Double-depth plan.
2 storeys; 2-window range. A right-hand doorway has door with
4 raised, fielded panels and glazed top pair, with H hinges,
left-hand 2-light C20 casement, and 2 centrally-placed
first-floor 6/6-pane sashes.
Rear mid C18 half-hipped gabled S extension with oak lintels
to 2/2-pane sashes and attic casement.
INTERIOR: details include flagged passages to sides and rear
of original single-cell front ground-floor room, with
chamfered ceiling beams; a central lateral stair flight, plank
and muntin panelling, C18 stone chimney piece in rear
ground-floor room with ovolo surround flanked by bowed niches,
one with original wooden frame; doors cut from early C18
panelling, and 3-plank doors; 2-bay front roof with
lap-jointed collar trusses, lath and plaster partition to
right-hand end.
