House and warehouse. Early C19, with late C17/early C18 rear
range. Rendered front range, with limestone rubble and
dressings to rear ranges, brick gable stacks and interlocking
tile roof.
Double-depth plan front house, with 2 consecutive projecting
rear ranges, all now open to ground floor.
3 storeys; 2-window range front. A C20 shop front with
plate-glass windows, and horned 6/6-pane sashes above. The C17
rear range has a rear gable with timber lintels to doorway,
and first-floor hoist door containing an 8/8-pane sash, with a
2-light plate-glass attic window; the S return has a lower
gable, with a single first-floor light toward the front with
an 4/12-pane sash.
Lower 2-storey range behind links with Building to rear of
No.12, Cross Hayes (qv).
INTERIOR: completely re-modelled on ground floor. Upper floors
not seen.
