Pair of houses. Mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble, still
roughcast with stucco quoins to right-hand house, ashlar
plinth with a brick party wall stack and stone slate roof
half-hipped to the left. Single-depth plan.
Each of 2 storeys and attic; 1-window range. Outer doorways
have flush-panelled doors with top glazing, and timber lintels
extending across ground-floor 10/10-pane sashes, and similar
first-floor sashes, in exposed boxes; dormers with cambered
heads and leaded metal casements.
Rear first-floor 2-light window with chamfered mullion.
INTERIOR: right-hand house now incorporated into Masonic Hall
to the right and much altered; details include a roof with
tenoned purlins.
