The Conservative Working Mens Club, Mill Street, Leek. More commonly referred to locally as 'The Dog and Rot' (Rot meaning Rat). An early C18th, three storied former private house that was then a public house before becoming the present club. Note the mullioned windows and the main entrance with its pedimented hood. Photograph taken 16/03/15 from Mill Street looking North-West.
