Cottage. Circa late C18 or early C19 with later C19 and C20 additions. Rendered cob on brick plinth. Thatched roof with half-hipped and gabled ends. Brick axial stack [originally gable-end stack]. PLAN: 2-room plan, larger left room heated from gable-end stack, smaller unheated room to right with staircase behind. Single-storey 1-bay addition built on left [south-west] end in circa late C19 and single storey C20 extension on right-hand end. EXTERIOR: 1 storey and attic. 2-window SE front with small 2-light casements with horizontal glazing bars, attic windows under eyebrow eaves, central doorway with glazed and panelled door and C20 brick porch. Single-storey addition on left with 3-light casement with horizontal glazing bars. C20 flat-roof extension set back on right. Casements on ground floor at rear. INTERIOR: Original fireplace blocked with C20 fireplace. Some old joinery including plank door to staircase and simple balustrade at top. Attic chambers ceiled.
