Mansion, now 3 dwellings. 1828, subdivided c1973. Gault brick
with hipped slate roofs and several brick stacks.
EXTERIOR: 2-storey 3-bay entrance front with 2-storey 5-bay
wing to left. Full-height pedimented porch projecting at
centre of entrance front having paired pilasters on each
floor, the inner pilaster on upper floor fluted, a half-glazed
door and 6/6 horned sash on first floor. Flanking bays have
one sash on each floor set within stuccoed architraves and
with various combinations of glazing bars.
Wing to left has central doorway and 6/6 horned sashes to
ground floor, 3/6 horned sashes to first floor, all windows
with hoods.
Right return: 2 storeys, 3 bays, centre bay gabled and
projecting. On ground floor projecting bay has bay window to
ground floor and tripartite sash above. Bay to right has
hipped roofed conservatory on ground floor; otherwise flanking
bays have one horned 6/6 sash to each floor.
INTERIOR: cantilevered staircase with stick balusters, the
balusters with rolled corners. Apsed upper landing under a
circular lantern.
