Two houses. Mid/late C17. 2 buildings, now one set of offices.
Painted render over limestone rubble to the upper floors,
limestone rubble with C20 concrete lintel band to the ground
floor, forward-facing gable with C20 plain tile roof.
Right-angle plan with cross gable facing front.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys and attic; one-window range. C19 2-light
casement window to the attic, C20 windows below; C20 door to
the right. Nos 9 and 10 (one building). Limestone rubble,
stone slate roof, 2 hipped dormers with C19 2-light casement
windows and stone-slate-hung cheeks. 2-unit central-entry
plan. 2 storeys with attic; symmetrical 2-window range.
Concrete lintels to C20 3-light windows; moulded architrave to
a C19 6-panel door under a timber hood on brackets. The quoin
to the left, mostly of stone, has brick to the top implying a
raising of the roof. The right return is rendered.
INTERIOR: altered; roofs not seen.
