Burgage house, now offices. Early C18 with C17 rear wing.
Painted render probably over limestone rubble, painted ashlar
plinth, steeply-pitched slate roof with a stack to the rear
centre of the main block and 2 hipped dormers close to the
ridge. 3-unit plan with rear wing.
EXTERIOR: 2 storeys with attic; 4-window range: 3 storeys;
3-window range to the rear and right return of the rear wing.
Cyma-moulded architraves to 6/6-pane sash windows with some
crown glass; steps up to the right-of-centre door, with
architrave, 6 raised-and-fielded panels and a 3-pane overlight
(probably formerly an 8-panel door) below a moulded hood on
brackets. A similar C19 door is to the far left.
The rear wing is gabled to the rear with a stack to the left
of the apex; ogee-moulded architraves and mullions to 2-light
windows to the 1st and 2nd floors one with a C19 cast-iron
frame of small panes inserted.
INTERIOR: some chamfered crossbeams, otherwise altered.
