Warehouse. Early C19, originally part of brewery complex. Stock brick, slate
roof. 4 storeys. 6 bays wide. Ground floor openings altered mid and later
C23. Upper floor windows with gauged yellow brick arches set in giant arcade,
the 1st floor windows segmental arched, those of 3rd floor semicircular arched
concentric with arcading; the 2nd and 3rd floor windows run together as single
opening. Plat band and parapet with coping. The interior structure is carried
on each floor by cast iron columns with necking and flange brackets to caps,
those on top floor carrying timber roof trusses. Similar rear courtyard elevation.
Rare survival of warehousing of this date and quality since the demolitions in
