House, possibly a pair originally. Mid C19. Ham stone roughly cut and squared; Welsh slate roof between stepped coped
gables: brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 3 bays, with a one-bay extension. Sash windows of 12 panes set in segmental
arched voussoired and keystoned openings, that to lower bay 2 only 9-pane, and set lower in former doorway: extension
on west gable in form of lean-to, with boarded door; a 9-pane matching sash window at first floor level in west wall.
Interior not seen. House almost certainly associated with the Parrett Iron Works, founded on the site of an earlier
mill c1855. (VCH, Vol III, 1974).
