Accommodation bridge. Initialled and dated "TM & J 1837". Ashlar. Classical
style. Single segmental-arch with roll moulding above the voussoirs flanked by
moulded circles. Projecting band supports balustraded parapet with vase-shaped
balusters and chamfered coping. Abutments slightly cut-back have solid parapet
terminating in square piers. That to north-east corner inscribed with date. The
eastern parapet inscribed "E WATSON 1838" (probably the name of the architect).
To the base of each pier are bullet-shaped stones to deflect carriage wheels.
