Terrace of pseudo-semi-detached houses. 1847-51. John Barnett. Stock brick and
stucco. Three storeys and basement. Each pair four windows plus recessed outer bays
joining adjacent pair. Stucco to ground floor and casement. Round headed windows with
architraves and archivolt bands to ground floor. Stone balconies with low cast iron
trellis balustrades. Cornice over ground floor. First and top floor windows with
architrave surrounds and cornices. Cill bands to top storey. Modillioned cornice and
blocking course. Porches to outer bays. Approached by steps. Round headed panelled
doors. Forms part of unified scheme with Nos 1-13 and 42-54 inclusive.
