Originally forming, with western portion of 127 (qv) three private Mansions. 1888
by Aldophus Croft for Gillow and Co. Portland stone faced with ornate enrichment
in vaguely Italianate manner. 4 Storeys, basement and slated dormered mansard.
Rusticated ground floor with doorways each end with inset Doric columns of polished
pink granite. Windows in architrave surrounds with cornices on 1st floor and 2
elaborately modelled 3 storey canted bays of 3 windows each floor. String courses,
deeply moulded projecting cornice. Carved RAF emblem in centre of top storey.
Stone balustraded area.
